View Full Version : 82 Bronco - good buy?

I found an 82 bronco xlt in fairly decent shape. Frame is good and the body needs a paint job and has a few minor dents but I didnt see much rust, if there even is any. Interior is fairly decent as well. Dude said its been sittin for the past 5 years in his garage but wants to just get rid of it now since he's moving. 351M i think, auto, all in all road or offroad worthy with the exception of fixing the brakes that need it according to him. Dam thing fired right up and sounded dam good, no ticks, knocks, or the usual suspects. he wants 500 but i beat him down to 350, mainly to use it as a beater. Needs tires, and who knows what else, but its def going straight to the woods. I know 350 is not that much money but is it worth it or will it be more of a hassle than fun for me to use it. Oh btw, odometer reads 18, xxx so i would imagine thats 118k. what you guys think?

does it run and drive? does the 4 wheel drive work? everything seems to be mech. fine? naw probly not worth 350 bucks i would just pass on it and let someone else get a deal. first off it would have a 9" rear, c6 with big block bolt pattern (if auto trans) and possibly a np205 these parts alone are 350 bucks. not to mention everything else on it you could part out including the tub with title seems like a no brainer.

Most likely it's a Windsor not a Modified.

I'd jump on it for $350.

embrace the redneck in you. Cut the fenders, but some bigger meats on it, beat the hell out of it for a year or so, and then part it out/sell it and make money.

I'd buy it man, hell its only $350 and you can beat the piss out of it til she blows. :grinpimp:
