I know these are not the best tyre around but has anyone in the U.S. heard of these comming out in a 37"/12.5"/15" ?
A tyre dealer here in Aus keeps talking about these being produced in a 37" very shortly but i have not heard any more.

I have heard these were coming soon too................I would guess a call to Pro-Comp might be in order.

i heard they'll have those 37 x-terrains out this winter. they have been planning on bringing them out for a while. someone said that they plan to release them around the time the BF krawlers will be released. i'm kinda partial to the x-terrains cause my junk is on the road everyday....it's still my commuter car...hehe!!!

I cannot exactly recall from memory, but I thought in the Four Wheel Parts ad in the latest FourWheeler they listed a metric 325/85R16 (or something like that) which they claimed was the metric equivalent to a 37" tire. IIRC they were like $350 a piece though.

I've seen ads for them, but in the 16" size.

Seems to me that some of these more specialized sizes should standardize to a single rim size. 16 fits just about everything w/o brake clearance problems. For the 15" fans, it's not THAT much less sidewall, and for the 17" fans, it's not that much MORE sidewall. For the 16.5" fans, those should go the way of triple-hoop rollbars & double-rows of KC lights :p

Yup, Cooper makes the Pro Comps. Pro Comp sets the prices though I'm sure. BTW, Cooper pricing has been moving upward for a few years now. They've been "mid-pack" for about a decade. Probably gonna see price increases now that J.D. Powers just gave 'em a #1 ranking though

Knowing ProComp, those 37" Xterrains are probably gonna be about 33" tall. I know a guy running 33" Procomp Muds and the 31" BFG A/T's on a friends rig were the same size! hahaha

I was in the Compton/Gardena 4WP store and also corporate offices checking out specs on tires, I asked the salesman about the chances of the X-terrain coming out in a 37X17'ss and he got the guy from the back who turned out to be in charge of the 4WP Pro-Comp tire program and he told me they where going to be doing the tooling for a 37X17'ss in September and would release in October.
I think he also said it was going to be a C load range.
My friend has been running the X-Terrain 35X15'ss and I kinda thought yeah right where gonna see those get shredded pretty fast, well I can't say I've been un-impressed by them and for who's selling them as there tire brand I'm impressed by how there holding up.
My friend who runs the 35X15'ss works at a local 4x shop and goes on all the local runs in So. Cal. With the owner of the shop for shop exposure so they do some of the tougher trails in So.Cal.
I'm hoping there be available buy the end of September when I'm done with my engine swap or they'll at least have a release date for them.

i've been running the x terrains for about 6 months now and i have about 15,000 miles on em...and they're holding up fine. i wheel with them at least two weekends outta the month. the biggest problem i've had with them is finding a good street pressure to run...the tires began to cup really hard and now i can feel it on the road. other than that they're great. they work well in most situations and only cost me 155 bucks a piece! i'm gonna throw a set of the new BFG krawlers on this winter....i saw a ton of them run at NEUROCK last weekend at paragon adventure park and i was really impressed!!! curt leduc and charlie in the crusher were running them and they loved them!!! they are sticky as hell!!!! well see what happens then! later, riggs

Cupping is typically the result of a problem in the suspension and/or steering of a vehicle & rarely has jack to do with the tires themselves.

$358 each for a 37x13.5R16, thats a lot of money, but 4wheel parts has a buy 3 get 1 free sale going now. That brings it down to $1074 for a set, thats like $268 each, thats not so bad. I wouldn't mind some or if Mickey Thompson made the Radial Claw in a 37". I like these tires a lot, but no more 35's for me.

I've been calling Mickey Thompson for about 3 months and they told me in the beginning they would have a 37X17 Baja Claw in mid summer and then it changed to mid October and now as of yesterday it's after the 1st of the New Year.
Just to try something different I was going to run the Baja Claw until I heard & saw the X-Terrain and then I started to think about running the X-Terrain, so it looks like I'll wait and see if the X-Terrain comes out when promised, mid October, that’s my first choice for the C range load rating and if not I might try the BFG KM's there a D range load rating.
Kinda sucks I already got my 17X8 Allied Bead locks, now I'm thinking I should've gone in the 16"or 16.5" rim.

i'm confused...i only paid 155 a piece for my 35x12.5's and that was about 6 months ago.....have they gone up in price that much??????? please don't tell me that the 37's are worth that much more!!! i'm not buying them again but that was one of the reasons pro comps sold so well....THEY WERE CHEAP!!! if they put them up at the price of MTR's and other great tires.....they won't sell any!! just my two cents!!!!
