From one newbie to another... Search, read, search more, read more, then post.

As for axles, skip the D28 and go straight for the dana 30/35 combo :flipoff2:

Define 'best'.

Easiest: Dana 35 and 8.8 from an Explorer

Easy updrade: Dana 44 and 9" from a '72-'77 Bronco

Better: High pinion 44 from a '73-'79 fullsize and Dana 60 from a '70s F-250

Best: High pinion king pin Dana 60 and a Dana 70, Sterling 10.25 or 14 bolt

Ultimate: 2-1/2 ton Rockwells

Here we go with the logic... :flipoff2:

Seriously though www.therangerstation.com once you get passed there loving of the D35 ttb crap theres helpful information. My junk 88 is leafed with a D44/D60 combo a late 70s F250 and it works fine im always breaking other crap. Im only turning 34s though and my truck is alot lighter than from the factory.
