They must have done some major work to the list becasue the website was down a bunch last week. I guess Ruger ponied up the extortion fee after all. Hopefully in a year or so the list will be a distant memory.

I am glad you have been able to get one legally but I am still pissed that I have had them on order through a number of Ruger wholesalers and get them or the LCP to save my live :crybaby:

go shoot the same load put of the LCR and then the 642. You'll feel the difference.

Yup. the new grip on the LCR is amazing. I shot some +P+ out of one and was still able to shoot my 1911 the rest of the day

Well seriously.... why would a revolver of ALL things ever be illegal? Even in Cali.... just makes no freakin sense.

Next thing ya know.... theyll be saying you can only buy "this car" type bs

Keith Strong

It wasnt illegal, it just had not been placed on the list yet. I am excited because I dont do trigger work on any of my carry guns, and the LCR has a better trigger that the S&W 340 PD, IMO. The LCR is a better option for me to carry most of the time, and most importantly, I WANT ONE :flipoff2: I just had to wait for it to get on the CA list.

For an LCP Daren you will probably have to wait for the lawsuit to finalize and see if the list is eliminated :(

Tell me about it. I have had an LCP on order for ~2 months now. I ordered another gun at the same time as the LCP and it was here a week later. The waiting is getting old...

I really need the cash right now. The only things I would consider for trade would be a 6 inch 686 or a Sig Trailside

Well seriously.... why would a revolver of ALL things ever be illegal? Even in Cali.... just makes no freakin sense. The law is designed to reduce the number of types of guns available to PRK subjects and to get extortion money from the manufacturers at the same time. So far it has worked even though it is obviously unconstitutional.

Next thing ya know.... theyll be saying you can only buy "this car" type bsThey have been doing that since 1965.
