Think this will hold up?

4"x3"x0.375" 6061-T6 I beam!

you can TIG steel...the welder we have at the shop can TIG steel and aluminum...just gotta change the settings:rolleyes:

I like the idea of aluminum though, better to find ways to take weight OFF than ON .

Scouts are heavy enough as it is.

If the two pieces of material are primed and painted on the ends, this will stop the chance of corrosion.
