is the toy tranny a forward shift?

toyota didnt use a w56 trans in 1981

this tranny shifts from the top ot the case. i can pull the #'s off the tranny and find out what model it is.i put this trans in my 81' which origanally had a 4-speed.let me now if u are still interested. mike 530-613-7331
