I found out that I have an ax-5 not the boa-10 tranny. So my bud has a 231 behind an ax-5 from a yj, and i have a cherokee I should be able to pull his tranny and it bolt right up to mine, and mine bolt right upto his correct. or are they different spline counts
he has a 2.5 and I have a 2.8. he's willin to swap with me if they work. I checked the search without much luck

I heard the firewall is different when they switched to the inline 6. You could get a 3.4L out of a '93-'95 Camaro or Firebird I think
