I recently did a sas on my 87 toyota xtra cab with 5 inch springs in the front and rear. When I got it together and put it on all fours the rear was really low. So I put a 1 inch block in the rear and put the shocks in the stock location and when I went to hook the e-brake back up the springs were in the way so I welded extension tabs on the brake levers coming out of the drum and now it clears the springs but it rubs my shock. Has any body else ran into this? I was thinking of maybe relocating the shocks to the top of the axle is there any advantages to this other than my e-brake cable not rubbing it? I tried to do some searching but couldnt find anything. Thanks for your help.
