Hey ya'll, I'm in a bit of a conundrum. I bought some injectors from Chad @ Alligator Performance, just 50hp injectors for my 03 LB7, with the assurance they wouldn't smoke much, behavior would be the same.

Well, it's not. My truck hazes at idle (even with tuning help & EFI Live) and smokes quite a bit under throttle. My question is simply this - I have a california truck, it has EGR; will the EGR system cause hazing and more smoke?

I would block the EGR any ways.

I would suggest going to www.duramaxdiesels.com and join There are alot of guy with bigger sticks that don't haze at idle and they are really helpful

I know they can be tuned to run like stock but I couldn't tell you how I have stock injectors in my truck
