I've got some real stupid questions for you guy's ...
But hey I'm from Europe so you've got to give me some credit :flipoff2:

I was in need of a new radiator for my 4.2L CJ7 and I could buy one real cheap but was for a 4.2L Wrangler. I thought it would be the same but it looks totally different. It's way smaller and thinner.

So my first question is : will it cool enough ?
And second : how the hell will I get it to fit easily ?

So if anyone has done this swap, just let me know.

I don't know if a 4.2L CJ has a different radiator then a 4.2 YJ but I do know that aftermarket radiators, especially really cheap ones, tend to be different then their OE replacements. They may not fit/fit poorly/be smaller/etc...

A quality direct replacement or upgrade will save you time, last longer, give you peace of mind, and work... It's not really saving money if you end up with a peice of shit, right?

It's the same motor with a different carb and a bunch of EGR crap stacked on top of it. If it will cool the YJ 4.2 then it'll cool the CJ 4.2.

As for mounting it, build a custom mount to make it work.
