H.R. 1018: Restore Our American Mustangs Act

I was just watching C-SPAN and caught the tailend of the vote on this bill (It passed). Apparently, one of the provisions sets aside an additional 19 million acres (~30,000 square miles) of "new habitat" for these non-native animals. The details haven't been posted on GovTrack yet.

Pay close attention to this bill for it has the potential to effectively close large areas of the western states.

BTW, the bill was sponsored by an easterner who probably has no concept of anything west of the Mississippi River.
