: BB balancing rocks! How I did it......

I read the posts on how others did it. I found an easy way to get those little basturds in there. This works great and much less vibes! Course golf balls would work with this method too. Just jam em in.

1. Jack one corner up
2. pull valve core and let air out.
3. Use a prybar to bust the bead being careful not to fawk up the bead in the process. Easier than it sounds. Takes two minutes.
4. Jam jack handle or pipe in tire.
5. Pour BBs in through handle/pipe using regular funnel.
6. Yank pipe/handle out.
7. Air the tire up seating bead however you normally do. I useda tow strap and a prybar. Just twisted the strap around the tire. Lack of ratchet strap is why I did this.

I used about 2500 BBs for each tire. I bought two 5000 boxes and measured them out in a measuring cup.

yes BB gun bbs. .177 to be exact :flipoff2:

Actually the BBs wont fit through the valve stem. Tried that first. I wonder how long it would have taken to do that. FOREVER! I started out with a straw and paper funnel at first. Got pissed and use the pipe.

They are SXs so I dont give a shiat what they do to the inside of the tire. They will wear out on the outside long before the BBs do anything to the inside. From what I have heard they wear a thin layer off of the inside after many many miles. Ill be lucky to get 10k out of these tires so I dont care.

Damn! Can't believe you actually would have sat there and put 10K BB's in one by one if they did fit...LOL

Oh and I have had this truck for 1.5 years and have put a grand total of 1200 miles on it. More reason not to give a crap.
