Well, im doing a sfa swap on my 89 Z-71. I originally ordered the ORU sas kit for 849.00 2 months ago they promised to be shipping 3 times still no show! Now they say late October! So I canceled my order!! So now the plan is to make Sfa axle brackets for the front of my truck the front im going to use 4x6 piece of metal and mount the shackles off my 76 suburban to it. What can I use for the fronts rear shackle mount? My spring perches are at 32 1/2"
Truck has been sitting bare frame for months!:mad3: :mad3:

At my work we ordered some guy factory front and rear hangers when his rusted out leaving his springs sitting on the body. They were ford hangers which means either you can use ford springs, or maybe chevy springs, or maybe order chevy hangers. Id tell ya to stop on buy if we werent in cali :flipoff2:

Will the Yjs hangers put the sprins 32 1/2" apart? Someone told me the rear shackle from a truck like mine mounted inside the frame rail will work? Is this true?

Yes a rear spring hanger from a chevy truck should work just fine..I would suggest just bolting the front springs to the axle get them squared up then slide the axle and springs under the truck and see were the best place to mount the rear hangers is. Just take plenty of time to keep measureing:)
What is this? An all newbie thread. :flipoff2:
J/K. I have no room to talk. :flipoff2:

If you doing a SFA swap, then you probably have enough fabricating skills to make you own, that's what I'm doing, then you can do it anyway you want
