These were some of the best courses that I have seen in a while - extremely hard!!!!

It was so HOT! but the shade from the trees was great and so was the river!

That was a hell of a wild run. I was announcing over on the open courses when it went down, I heard Shannon throttling up, and look to see Lance charging towards the open area, then like a rocket Campbell just launched skywards,...hell it was the only shade I had throughout most of the day when he blocked out the sun. Lance was actuall dirt skiing back towards the course when Shannon dropped down for the second attempt.
Absolutely amazing!!!
I would love to see video of the whole thing from the shady side!

Hey launch director Clifford! I agree!!! The stunt you and sky pilot Campbell pulled off in Oroville was totally amazing, from start to finish!! I thought maybe either it was a mirage or a hallucination from the heat, but no, you really did it! Have any more photos/videos emerged yet? I want to see it again, and again, and AGAIN!

Nicole, I hope your dad is feeling better. But how's FRANK after Oroville? He really gave it a go! I saw him on his lid at least twice. That 25' vertical drop into the culvert was amazing! I was sitting on the far side of the culvert, and could look straight through it and also over the top of it with Frank pointed right in my direction. The culvert was about 10 feet in diameter, but from the top of that drop it must have looked like a target the size of a Cheerio! And not only did he flop, but he did it right into the entrance of the culvert. It was wild wild wild! At least Frank wound up neatly upside down in the culvert, and not nosed in like a lawn dart in between two trees like several other rigs.
