I have a ? on how you guys are doing the c-piller on an internal cage, along with the frame/uni-body tie in. this fender well is pissing me off for the design. the a,b,and d pillers are no problem. If i was not puting my 3 kids back there,i would not worry so much about the bars right there. eventuly i'll have a cargo rack on the roof tided into the cage if this helps. said truck is a '79 4-door cherrokee.I know this section is for the uni wagons but you guys are the closest rigs (on pirate)to what i'm building. I also posted this up on IFSJA.org to. links and good search terms are also helpful,so flame away.

I have a hybrid inner/ exo cage with a roof rack 'halo' that has 3 drop downs, A, B and D. My D pillar drops to the body with a spreader plate and then has a piece that hits the wheel well at an angle, and again has a spreader plate. If you run spreader plates you should be alright, tying into the wheel well. I would brace between your C and D pillars though to hold them together and triangulate the cage. Maybe a bar from the top of the C to the bottom of the D pillar?
