So i have a question to ask you experts.
One of my Sgt's ran into some financial problems and is selling his 2003 Dodge Ram 4.7 L 2x4
He told me he just need what he owes, which is 2500.
I know there is nothing wrong with the truck, i think it only has like 60000, and it's immaculate. He really took good care of it.
My question is, would it be feasible to buy this truck and lift it or could it be SAS'd?
and i guessm y second question is what would u guys do with a truck like this?

had a similar deal with a 99 1500 ram 2wd. guy wanted $1k to get out of a financial bind. Only had 35k on it. Bought it and used it as my DD.

Heck for that price I'd scoop that up in a heartbat. Decide what to do after you get it. And well as for the lifting question anything is possible. :D
I wouldnt lift a 2wd truck unless you made it 4wd and did a SAS on it. To me that's like a girl with no vag! Def sounds like a good deal though. Only thing is my brother's got a 03 grand cherokee with the 4.7 HO and that thing has some nuts, but as far as I know the one's in the Dodge's arent HO's so it just seems to me in that much bigger and heavier of a vehicle it would be under powered. I'd want a Hemi but I'd prefer a cummins. Once again though that is def a good deal. Hell you could buy it, turn around and sell it for more and buy a 4x4 maybe a couple years older. Look at EVERY option you'd have with it..

That is a decent deal on that truck. The 4.7 for the ram thru 07 was under powered for the truck. You can get the engine to wake up with a few bolt-ons and a programer. The 4.7's respond well and seem to like gear swaps. It will not be as powerful as the Hemi but it still makes a nice DD. As far as lifting goes... there are many options for lifting the 02-05 rams. There are lifts from 1" to 7" of suspension, and there are a few guys over at DodgeTalk that have lifted there trucks as much as 10".
