...until you realize that you don't have enough strength in your weak hand to rack the slide. Then you try and pull a muscle in one of your good fingers in your bad hand. Then when you finally get to shooting, your G26 gets all fickle about being shot with one hand and jams and such causing you to have rack the slide 20 more times than necessary.

Yes,I'm sure I could find umpteen odd ways to rack a slide one handed in a combat situation, none of them seemed like a good idea four days post hand surgery with a full mag. Oh well, looks like rifles only until I get some strength in my left hand.:(

You need a tactical slide racking accessory!

I can shoot equally well/bad with either hand.:D As far as one hand racking, Trijicon is way better than Novak.

Edit: Watched the videos. What's wrong with using the rear sight to rack the slide on the belt or pant pocket?

Seriously though, I think I could probably limp wrist my Cougar all day long and one hand it and just have bad form in general. Not so sure I could say the same for my main carry gun (Kahr PM40). Of course I have never tested this theory but my Cougar (favorite pistol I have ever wrapped my hand around) can do no wrong so I am pretty sure it would be fine and I think I am scared to try with the Kahr. It might rip my hand off....LOL
