Well, finally got my bender all hooked up and I was wondering if you folks use any oil or anything to make the bending process go easier?

Yep, I use what ever motor oil I have laying around.

I watched some pros use white lithium in a spray can to lube the dies. Liberally too.

I like to use wheel bearing grease on my dies.

Plain ol' WD-40

wd-40 in a pressure can.... works pretty good. kinda thin though.

white lithium spray sounds better.

I still dont have mine on yet!Ive made two previous attempts and had the ram fail once and the lines fail the second time.Im having the worst luck.

I know that if there backwards all you need to do is switch the lines, but it would be nice to do it once and keep the P.S. fluid on the gerodge floor down.

So i just need to know when you turn say, right, does the top or the bottom fitting have pressure.........Hope that makes sence?

  A couple of beers in advance

Thanks,Robert

I use lithium grease it lubes well but doesn't make your gloves forever greasy when your handling the greased sections of tube. I use the actual can of it though and I cut a hole in the lid and just big enough for a little brush .
