Yeah, he is getting soft in his old age. Likes the climate control and sound system of the tow rig.
Me, I like the wind in my face, frozen hands, sore backside from rockhard seats, the occasional splash of rain, snow, sleet, road mud, the noise of the MT's roaring down the street...
Worrying the whole time if I break something will I be able to limp home.... :D
RustoleumWhite 09-13-2002, 02:17 PM :flipoff2:
I trailer it BECAUSE I CAN!!!!!!
:flipoff2:

BTW, Mark.. that quarter panel looks kinda beat. Are you getting lazy on your pretty body work these days? Say it isn't so!
This is my *GOOD* side...

Ahh yes....
A "Die hard". Guess it will be you and me eating the rain and snow Hoop.
And both of us worrying if it will stay together long enough to get home to fix:D
Trailers are a comfort, no doubt about that:cool2:

thats a pic from on the way back from the SNORT "put-up or shut-up", were I put up and did that.
ALso got a nice dent in the frame and colapesed a mid body mount (the frame side one). Not sure where/when the dent came from, found it after the round-up trail ride.
No, not getting lax... well maybe I am.... popped most of it out...
wait till you see the new body... it will be nice and strait.. for a *little* while.... :D

So, you are going straight, eh Mark? We'll see about that... ;) You took it awfully easy at Walker last time out, and you even had a trailer to get home on... ;)
Scoutaholic 09-13-2002, 04:42 PM I dunno... To me the bigest reason to trailer is so you don't have to wory about breaking and not be able to drive it home. Even if it is street legal.:D

Patty, I see nothing wrong with Mark's Scout being on a trailer.
:flipoff2:
NQS
Scoutillac 09-13-2002, 07:44 PM Hey Mark!!!!! You gonna trailer that pile-o-shit up to the WV
work party tomorow?:flipoff2:
lt303scoutin 09-15-2002, 12:14 PM I'm thinking about buying a '65 1200 4X4 for haul my IH crap around in.
Its at a wrecking yard for $300. No glass, no carb or coil, and no driverside floor. 345/Manual/np203
Does that sound like a decent rig for hauling ? thought I'd ask since it seems everyone but patty has one :flipoff2:

Sounds good to me, other than the 6-lug wheels and drums.
Otherwise...
Take the 1200, combine it with a Chevy K20's front 44/10-bolt and rear 14-bolt and you'll be set.
And it had better have an NP205, NP202, NP201, or a Rockwell. :D
My tired 345 pulls my Travelette and trailer around pretty well.
lt303scoutin 09-15-2002, 12:58 PM I just happen to have a Blazer D44 front sitin the weeds:)
and 202, my bad
