OK first off I did the search Gimik
Do you guys do any think to prep the bear metal on the tube stuff that you build(sanding,sandblasting,etching primer?)OR do you just clean and paint

I like to use a rustoleum primer coat followed by a coat of rustoleum. :flipoff2:

My stuff is cleaned and roughed up with a green scratch pad or 2, then wiped down with MEK or equivelant, before being primed with an etching primer.
The scratch pads take a little while but are worth the effort!
