i want a 70s cab, because they look better and are smog exempt (not to mention stronger than the 80s pot metal cabs). i'd like a single cab, with a short-bobber bed. i like my wheelbase right at 107" and don't want to change that. i've heard that bronco frames have a goofy bump in them and aren't very condusive to pickup swaps (at least early body style ones). anyone got any insight that could be helpful? i don't know how similar the 70s frames and bodys are to the 80s bodys, i am pretty sure the frames are different widths? i wouldn't mind losing the bronco frame either, it has too many goofy bends, holes etc. i think the 70s frames are a little more simple?

:mr-t: cause i'm drunk.

the cab will be something like 6" away from the bronco frame where the rear cab mounts need to be
it drops on other then you need very tall rear cab mounts
