I'm looking for a custom 1980 Scout grille with square headlights. Any idea where to find one?

The only one you will find....and they are really hard to find.

I have one from Howteron products, but haven't gotten around to putting it on yet. It's fiberglass, rather than ABS as most are. Looks just like the one above.

Ive always liked the square headlights on the 1980. If one purchases that grill can you use plain old standard GM truck headlight buckets and mount them directly to that grill, or do you need to use some special 1980 scout buckets?

My wife ordered this for me. She sent an email to Howard of Howteron Products to make sure they would fit my Scout, and this was his answer:

> This is not a complete grille assembly as the 1980 grille is.
> Previous
> models including the actual SSII's have a metal panel that attaches to
> the front fenders and provides the mounting for the headlights with
> the visible grille mounted over it while the 1980 grille does not use
> this panel under the grille. To use this grille in a 1980 Scout, the
> metal panel from any earlier model must be used with most of the

> that they mount in and the bezels around them are not included with
> the grille itself.
