The trail is essentailly closed to the public becuase of the Jeep Jambo.

Someone may correct me if I am wrong, but I think they get some type of "parade permit"

The trail is closed for public use between 6AM and Midnight all days of the Jamboree. You may travel the trail in the off hours. The Rubicon Springs property is reserved for exclusive use at that time. Through travel is permitted, but only during designated hours.

i just got off the phone with some lady at the jeep jamboree office and she said that they close off rubicon springs but we can still go through the trail there will just be a lot of people, if this sounds goofy let me know because i dont want to drive six hours to have to turn around

I would highly suggest you find another weekend. Only because the wait on the trail is difficult to deal with. You might be waiting for 1-4 hours in spots if folks have problems.

Best to pic another weekend and let those folks enjoy thier trip IMHO.\

If you try to go in to the trail you will be questioned at Buck Island or the backside of Rubicon Springs.

Best to try another trail until later.
