D.U.I does or atleast did. Both big and little cap styles. Haven't looked in a while so I can only assume they still do.

IH Only and/or IH Only North. If they don't have it on there web sites, it might not exist. But a phone call to either of them will more likely than not net you any source(s) for and HEI.

Report back your findings.

Go with fuel injection and convert the distributor to work with the ECM. You could probably find that info on binderplanet, but I knnow for sure the dizzy conversion is on justih.org.

It can be done with JY parts for about $10 plus the cost of a new cap, rotor and plug wires. Search....

No shit, but if you already want to go FI then wait and do it all at once so you can have an ECM controlled dizzy.

i converted my gold box to duraspark with the TFI cap adapter and rotor and i havent had one single prollem with it.

for those that are un-necesarily antiduraspark, you can simply use the dursapark pickup and reluctor to fire an HEI module. you can use the old school carb module, you dont have to go to fuel injection to use a gm module.

i personally dont like troubleshooting HEI setups with the stupid module and coil all in the cap, TFI/duraspark will get you just as good a spark with junkyard or auto discout store parts for way less $$

my 2 cents,for what theyre worth :flipoff2:

Is there a difference in the TFI cap/adapter and the duraspark II?

That would take a custom water neck too:flipoff2: The dura spark is ok, but only if you get one for free. JY gets like $50 now days for the setup.

i do not know what duraspark II is. what im using is a plastic adapter on the dizzy, then the wide cap with HEI style prongs. is factory equipment on late 70s/early 80s fords, and fits right on the goldbox dizzy. its basically fords version of HEI.

it did require some minor clearancing of the intake and and the cap to fit.

well i dont know about that, since i run a chevy crossflow radiator and my neck does point to the driver side :flipoff2:

what are you gonna get thats as reliable,as readily available and easy to find replacement parts for,and provides as good a spark for $50?

Ahh, duraspark II cap/adapter is what you are talking about. I think it must be the same as TFI.

Duraspark I (76-down iirc) cap's go right on the scout holley dizzey and clear the water neck. They are small caps.

I don't know what you are talking about when you say HEI style prongs on a duraspark dist, male plug wire plugs?

You will likely need to tune it no matter what. Why compound your problems by buying way overpriced stuff from AFI and not get tech support afterwards.

I started with an AFI kit, but now that I know what I am doing I run cleaned up factory harnesses. AfI makes a nice harness though.
