A few weeks ago the FJ60 rode the trailer home from Colo, today it pulled the trailer and retrieved a 1965 FJ45 SWB Pickup, almost the same color...

Look how different the rear shackle hangar is from a 40.......

This truck is decieving, I would have guessed from looking, the wheel base of it and a 40 were very close, but the length of the rear driveshaft tells a different story, it has everything for a PTO winch, visible here, except the winch:(

So don't tell us you got that for $750 too!;)

It even came with a limited edition underhood security system.........:flipoff2:

That thing is looking awesome! I wish i could have found a decent FJ-45 when i was looking for my rig. But i am very happy with my FJ-40 chevota :D

man, landcruiser pickups are soo cool...i wish i could get one of those aussie extended cab or crew cab ones and convert it to lhd...that would be sweeet.

It's only flaws, fairly certain the motor is locked up.
2 ==4"X24" angle iron sections welded in the bed on the fenderwells, PO said it used to have a shooting platform...
I gave quite a bit more for this one, my wife looked it over and tried to understand.................
She thinks it's Fugly.

What is the reatchet strap for on the steering wheel? I only ask because I'll be trailering my 40 cross country in a couple weeks. BTW rEALLY nice find. Congrats!

This bitch don't run, I loaded it alone, with two come-along's, or hand winchs as some call them, the strap is to hold the steering wheel as I adjusted it to guide it onto the trailer.

All I have to say is that is an absolutely beautiful find you have on your hands. What would I give to own one of those rigs. To top it off, the one that you found looks to be in sweet condtion. Congrats man, and I bet you will have some fun with that. Remember, you need to keep us updated when you start working on it.

Dude that is SWEET. but the first thing you need to do is return it to the stock condition...................turn the headlight bezel over it is upsidedown......IMO keep it stock, if you want a truck go buy a 74 F150 nothing is cooler than a stock 45.
