Champion 08-04-2009, 02:28 PM We have 80 acers in Geneseo. We are still developing it, but it has great potential
Champion 08-04-2009, 07:28 PM P.S. this is in the wrong section :flipoff2:

yea sorry bout that, can you give me more info on the 80 acres? my family owns some farmland in genneseo so i go there often. whats it cost to get in ? are fullsize beaters allowed ? when can we go ? who do i have to contact and can you give a phone number? thanks
Champion 08-05-2009, 04:05 AM it does not cost anything, it is on private land. The trails right now are very tight. my jeep has trouble fitting somethings. i currently live in chicago but am from the qc so i dont get to wheel there as much as my brother and friends. I would recomend walking some of the trail before bringing you rig there. i wil get teh phone # of the land owner. we usally just pay him in beer for letting us wheel.
79redneck460 08-05-2009, 12:33 PM cool thanks , there are atleast 15 of us with full size rigs that would be willing to pay cash , beer, or whatever to wheel as long as we can fit in the trails.
CJ7Addict 08-05-2009, 05:50 PM I am one of the good friends of the land owner of the 80 acres. Not to burst your bubble, but I doubt we can get you out there with that many rigs. That is just a lot of rigs and the land owner wants us to tread lightly.
Plus, there are a lot of spots that stock width Jeeps just fit through and we are trying to keep all the trees possible. Plus, the creek beds are really narrow and I am not sure a full size rig will fit.
I will ask about more rigs, but to be honest, I highly doubt they will allow any more rigs than the three we usually run. Sorry man, but free wheelin is hard to come by and we don't want to loose our spot.
Champion, thought you said you didn't want to wheel out there anyway!!!! Something about your butt hurting because you had to do a little work! :D
79redneck460 08-05-2009, 08:45 PM k , thanks anyway then. just let me know if things ever change. im not sayin theres 15 of us ready to wheel right at the moment but when we're all up and goin thats about how many , including me theres probly only 5 of us at the moment but most all of us are pushing 8 ft tall and wide so if the trails are that tight it probly wouldn't work .

How hardcore is your group?? There is a wheelin club out of Des Moines that has some private land that they go to once a month. I don't belive full sizes would be an issue. But most of the rigs are 1 Ton Jeeps, buggy's, and truggy's. Real nice, classy, group of wheelers.
79redneck460 08-06-2009, 02:06 PM most of the trucks are pretty mild street legal trucks , runnin from 38's to 42s , mostly stock. mine is a stripped and shortend 82 f 150 , bobbed, dual t cases , locked 60 and sterling, on coils with 4 link f/r , on 47" titans. are you talkin about miobi? i went there for memorial day and tore my junk up and am goin back for labor day .

irocyj41 08-06-2009, 09:44 PM Prolly not what you are looking for . Major body damage to fullsize rigs . Might not even get out of there with any body panels left on it .

First time I have seen that one Luke, good job!
We may be elite but we are not snobs. Members age runs from 21-47, some with families, some without. Full body rigs will have a hard time negotiating the tight trails and trees. Shorter wheel base smaller rigs work best (Jeeps, Toyota's, Sammies, ect..) Most of us run 1Ton axles and tires 38-42". We like ROCK's, so that is what we do, be it Area 51 or out of state destinations.
Membership will probably be capped so don't snooze or you may loose

so how does one join this club? i have sent several email's(a year or so ago), and never got a response. just figured i wasn't elite enough. but it would be nice to at least get a rejection email instead of silence.
irocyj41 08-08-2009, 12:04 PM Unfortunately the guy who sends those e-mails passed away from a heart attack . I do believe it was around the time you were inquiring about our club. We have a 35" minimum tire size to be a member . I thought one of the other members was going to get a hold of you .

sounds cool and the website is baddass , but i don't think my junk would fit in too well there. it is more of a mud rig than anything but i like to hit the trails with it . and its got zoomies so im sure that would irritate some people, im kinda suprised that i didn't catch any crap about them at miobi.im just lookin for a place to wheel with some mud and hills thats not 3 or more hours away .

nope, no one ever got ahold of me.
and sorry to hear about your club members death. that sucks.
35" tire size minimum. i thought it was 33's. well if that is the case i don't qualify as i only have 33's. no plans on bigger.
i did wheel down there one day with you guys(so called area 51). I don't live to far away from it. my locker had just given up the weekend before so i was running an open diff in the rear which really sucked.

are you ever going to have a "open to the public" event? I would love to be able to wheel there again.
