--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just starting my 5.7l 4l60e to a 6.0l 4l80e swap.
So far I only know of having to move trans. mount back 3" and shorten rear driveline and extend front driveline. The 6.0 is from an 05' 2500 suburban 2wd.
I have the full harness and DBW pedal to mount in place of my cable pedal.
When getting into the ECM swap I am not sure of what roadblocks I will hit???
Don't know what I'll have to do about guages, cruise control, and brakes.
Picked up the 6.0l and trans for $750bucks, maybe I should just rebuild the 5.7 and do the trans swap??
Let me know what you think.

Read this its a 96 but should help.

Its a cable TB but should be close. It might be easier to swap to a cable TB then you could use the trucks cable cruises control. To use course on the DBW you have to use the wires out of the column stalk and connect to the 6.0l PCM.

You can leave the a/c compressor in the stock 6.0L location but you have to notch the frame.
