What Ohm range does this sending unit produce?? I bought an Autometer gauge with the 73 - 12 Ohm range. It said it was for the Chrysler years pre - 1989. I know that is what is in the CJ's but is it the same for the Wranglers???

I have an 80-something YJ tank and sending unit (the big plastic tank without the internal pump) and I seem to remember it being basically 0-100 ohms for empty/full. My CJ sending unit measured around 10-70 I believe which matches your numbers. Took me awhile to get used to the CJ guage readings and that's in addition to the fact that empty and full are now reversed :D The CJ unit increased resistance as fuel level drops and the YJ unit is opposite (or vice versa, been a bit since I measured it).
