Im getting ready to do hydro assist, i took an old pump and cut the neck off then took a piece of 1.75 exhaust tubing and brazed it to my pump and then brazed the other neck to the top to use the stock cap.....EMS off road is 30 miles away so i took my spare box apart, took the cap with me and they tapped it for free and also i bought theirs for 50.00. Then i called east coast gear supply and bought the(trail gear) 2x8 ram , 2.. 3/8 hoses @ 50 inches, 6 fittings, heim joints and the mounts for 200.00 shipped . I went to my local parts store and bought a power steering cooler(b&m) and 8 ft of 3/8 hose for 22.00.....heres some of the pics of the parts, i will have pics of the instalation monday night.... i am doing the pump mod that west texas offroad does...............let me know what you guys think....??????????

I completed the hydro assist and with the pump mod i searched for it came out perfect. Here are 2 pics, it steers perfectly on the highway and even better offroad. Seems that i have more of a tuning radius now. I figure i have a hair under 300 in it and so far well worth it...turns my 39.5s with ease...
