I have a k5 that Im converting to full hydraulic steering... The problem Im running into is the steering shaft that comes off the fire wall from the colum wont mount to the output shaft from the orbitol valve... The splined shaft is 36 and the stock one is 30... I just need some recomendations on what I can do... Looking to spend as little as possible to do it

POR's Straight Spline Adapter: ¾” Female Tube to ¾” 36-spline female ($20.50) and the Orbital Valve Input Shaft: ¾” 36-spline male to ¾” 12-spline male ($55.00).

Then, you can modify a stock Chevy steering shaft to work. Basically, clean it up (they are collapsible from the factory for crash worthiness), drive out the pin so the shaft slides freely to accommodate any body to frame flex and weld the end to the adapter.

PSC GM 30 spline column.
This would be the best/simplest way since you realy should use a U-joint or something similer at that connection if you are mounting to the frame.
