Looking to upgrade from wedge mount calipers on my chevy D60 to a pin style. Anyone know what will work. Did some searching but I guess I'm not putting the right words in. I'm sure someone has done it.

Why? Stock setup works just fine....

Are you looking to go to 3/4 ton brakes? If so then there are conversion brake mounting brackets on the market for them.

Just seems more susceptible to binding on the rotor. Maybe not. I guess I figured its an older design and they've gone away from it so it must be an improvement to use the newer style.

Just keep the slides cleaned and lubed.

So it I'm replacing stock components, is AC Delco the best Fort rotors and calipers?

AC Delco makes good stock replacement parts.

i bet if you built a bracket and got some of those super high dollar Wilwood nascar 6 piston calipers, they would fit.... of course, that is with a lot of homework and time... only to have marginally better braking than the stock single piston caliper.
