Hey everyone - check out this super clean Scout II that was snapped in Manhattan - I would love to find a similar year for purchase - does anyone know what actual year it is? I know they made scout IIs between 71 and 80. And is it worth getting a diesel?

square headlights are a big hint

Start Here (http://www.binderplanet.com/forums/showwiki.php?title=How+do+I+identify+the+Year+of+m y+Scout+II)

Which you could find through looking at the top of this page (http://www.binderplanet.com) under the title "BP IH Knowledge Base"

Similar info can be found here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Harvester_Scout)

Always good to research something before you purchase it. But then again lots of people buy shit can't figure it out and sell it for cheap to people who know how to type "International Scout info" into the Yahoo or google seach feature and get started

Another reason to never go to NYC. I'd rather have pin stripes done by trees & rocks, and not some asshole with a key.
