I just ordered a couple from these guys, www.bulletindustries.com, never dealt with them before but they make 14" carbide dry cut blades with a max. RPM of 4400 so you can replace the 14" blade on your abrasive saw with a carbide one, or just run it at 1800rpm in a dry saw.

On my dry cut I have always ran MK Morse Metal Devil blades; expensive, but my 72 tooth blade lasted a VERY long time, you can search around for best price but amazon usually has them for a decent price.

I don't have much experience with dry saws, but everyone in my industry that uses them says that Tenryu is the best brand http://www.tenryu.com/

I couldn't get any of the less expensive blades to hold up. It killed me to do it 'cause I hate Dewalt but I just put a Dewalt 70T on my Milwaukee. So far, so good. The wife was cutting rebar w it the other nite 'til I realized it and told her to stop. The blade still lives.................
