I got some 38in tsls tonite....How long do you think my 44 front will last??:rolleyes: Waiting for some 1 tons....
I got em' w/ about 70-75 % tread left mounted and balanced for $450...i think i got a pretty good deal, well see how long it takes for that number to grow in costs of axles shafts:flipoff2:
Maybe not tech, but it's always exciting evertime you get bigger meats...:cool:

Im plannin' on swapping everything out.
Plans: 4 Bolt Main SBC 350, SM465, NP205, 14 Bolt, 60, Hydro.....
Bench Seat (ive always wanted to have a bench seat) Long Arse wheel base. I think im just gonna move the springs back to the end of the frame rails, thats like 9 inches run some Dodge van offset leaves give me about 4 more inches. I want to keep the bed, tub the fender wheels, fuel cell....finish my cage, i have it done, but just need to triangulate it. Sliders and some other junk.
I was thinking about going the doubler route, but i want to see if someone ever makes a low gear set for the 205, or if someone has done it yet.
I have seen some pics of your IH, it looks real sweet!! Your gonna be done long before i will. You runnin' 42's aren't you??
What are you doing for the front?? As in w/ those big meats are you doing anything to your firewall or fenders?? Moving the axle forward?? I need some tips!

Look at the next to last picture on my post. I had to cut out all of the supports on the door frames next to the firewall, trimmed the radiator supports, trimmed grill frame, removed lower portion of inner fenders.
Using stock wagoneer springs turned backwards to extend front axle forward. I hope it works out, will know in a couple days when I finish welding in new mounts and bolt it all up.

Lots o' cuttin! Looks good though! I won't have to do that much for 38's but whenver i go 42's i will. You runnin' waggy leafs up front and stock scout leaves in the backk? Or do you got 2 1/2 in leafs in the back also??
