Looking to make a trip to the Reno area in mid to late October. I know there are a few good trails in the Reno area...Zuk Canyon? Bronco Canyon? El Dorado? Others? I've heard about em, but I got no idea where they are...anyone want to help a brutha out with directions or show us the way? Thanks!

I know of a bunch of decent trails around here. Depending on how hard you want to go. BBQ with the kids? Or do you want to try to put your rig on its lid?:D I dont know the names of the trails, but i can take you to them and or get you directions.

right now all I know is how to get to the mall and back...poor 2wd pathy

SMC-All of the rigs in our group are locked in both ends and on 35s or larger except for a few samis on 33s. Looking for a difficulty similar to the con, or the hammers.... no madatory rollovers required however :D

I might know a trail or two.

Let me know when you get here. I can play trail guide for trails that are "easy" to trails that require a winch. Some of the best ones are only 10 minutes from downtown.

Do the trails out by Reno get burried in snow in the winter? Sometimes but usually not for long. Except for '91 we get maybe 4 inches of snow that's gone in a couple of days of sun, if it even lasts the day. Some canyons will keep the snow around for a while longer but typically not a problem.

I'll be in Fallon from next week till mid Oct. I'll be comming home the weekend of the Rubicon clean up and will stop there on the way home.

Yeah, do October. Maybe my crap will be done by then. Just had shoulder surgery yesterday so nothing's happening. Maybe I could ride shotgun? :D

Oh, and Shaun, i picked up that disk braked 44 rear finally. Should practically bolt in. I'll probably order the gears within the next few weeks.

But yeah, if any sort of run gets organized, let us know. I'd even like to see more trails around here too.

Mid Oct. it is if nobody has a problem. Our snow wont hit the ground untill late november. Even later this year thanks to El'nieno *sp?*
Pathmaker, Saweet! When you need a hand on the tnstall, drop me a line. BTW, if you want to hit the trails with me, we can do it next week. I allways have a spare seat. After that, my truck will be down for a few weeks for major mods..

Mid to late Oct. is what I was thinking, maybe the weekend before the clean-up? Pretty sure I have to work the weekend after the clean-up.
