I didnt think Chevy ever made a 700R4-NP231. They made a 700R4-NP231C, but it is a 5 bolt case. The 700R4-NP241 is 90 degrees off of a NP231 case.

This is a stock 5 bolt GM adapter that mates a 231C to a 700.It will not work with a 241 since they are 6 bolt and this is five.
