what changes are made in a 203 when a part time kit are installed ? using warn hubs*

what are the ranges now used for ? hi, hi loc, lo, lo loc,

and can a 203 be converted easily back to original configuration ?

this is in a 79 K-10 (with aluminum tail i think)

there are 2 styles of kits available one replaces the output shaft to a solid shaft and is sold by mile marker. The other is sold by a few other companies and replaces the spider gears in the differental in the input housing. the mile marker unit is stronger and quieter but more expensive and more time consuming to install.

input housing... hmmmm uh oh.... that mean have to yank case from truck to do that ?(converting to or from fuill time)
