quick question i did a search and didnt come up with anything.

is it a good idea to run a stabalizer on a hi steer setup without ram assist. ive been diging though pics but havent really been able to gather a yes or no on a street'd vehicle. most of the ones im looking at are trail only.

thanks

I would. I tried without and had Death Wobble (Due to many factors) but I just went RAM instead ;)

I'm running mine without the ram right now and no stabilizer. Works fine. YMMV.......

Yeah, I've been meaning to fab up a stabilizer bracket for my Hysteer setup, but I've grow quite accustomed to my death wobble (again, for many reasons, mostly due to my Jeep being almost broke in half) and haven't gotten around to it. I will eventually go with ram assist, but until then I SHOULD be running a stabilizer

I'm SOA on 2 1/2" springs on my CJ in a hi-steer configuration and have no steering stabilizer AND no death wobble, but then again I am only running 35" tires. I did not build it to be road worthy, but it rides better than my stock Toyota truck (dd).

I think if it is set-up right and not running larger than 35's you should have no death wobble. This is only from my experience with my Jeep and a couple of friends.

I use a ram without a stabilizer and love it.
