I'm really thinking of getting one, anyone here use one? I've read lots of reviews on outher boards about them, but want info thoughts from here :D I find myself stopping on certain parts of trails and lowering the seat down before attempting the root infested 3' drop. I really think "on the fly" adjustment would be awesome. Maybe I won't come home after a ride bleeding as often  So whats everyone's pros and cons? I'm not concerned about the weight of it. Whatcha got?

Posts I am considering:

1. Joplin

2. Gravity Dropper

3.Rase, very expensive, but 9" of adjustability compared to 3" http://www.rasebike.com/

Tons of old riding buddies in Colorado love them for ease of adjustment. they have been all the rage for a few years now.

I use the Gravity Dropper and love it.
I was using one by Ryde that was hydralic but I had to take my hand off and user the lever on the post and did not like that very much.
I have not used any others but the 2 that i listed.
Gravity dropper had a 4 inch model by the way

gravity dropper... it's what a lot of people use in my area and even more use them in downieville. That trail proves that a on the fly adjustable post is needed. The most popular one... Gravity Dropper, just ask Mark Wier

I like the joplin, but I am partial to Crank Bro's. I am sure the gravity dropper is fine and I am sure a LOT cheeper! I have been eyeing some sort of dropper as well. let us know how you like it!

Bummer. I'll drop the link if I see one. I'm looking for a 175 crankset. Tweaked my old Suntour today. Rides ok, annoys the shit out of you.
