: red nose pit so cal
saabaroonie 08-13-2009, 01:03 PM Hate to have to get rid of my lil buddy, but I just cant give him the attention he needs anymore. He is a 2 1/2 year old red nose pit, name is "zero" he is pretty well behaved and listens pretty good. He has a bunch of energy pretty much... he is a lil lover boy when people are around and can ham it up with the best of em, he gets along with other dogs and loves people. If you want more info gimme a call..... no freaks or dog fighters please... If the dog doesnt like you or I dont like you theres no deal. looking for a loving home for him. He does have a bit of seperation anxiety, main reason I have to get rid of him... me and my gf work 40 miles from home now and he cant get along with that lil bit of human interaction. located in so. cal.

saabaroonie 08-13-2009, 09:59 PM Just get him a buddy...
I tried that... made the "problem" 50% better. The lil girl we got is SUPER calm all the time and doesnt depend on people or dogs...she's kinda a loner, zero on the other hand is a big attention whore, just wants to play all the time...I really hate to get rid of him... but it has to be done.... been thinking about it for 6 months and its just the best thing for him... he needs more attention than i'm able to give. she lays on him all the time... :homer:

the bond between those dogs may be stronger than you realize... I'd be really hesitant to split them up.
akacroftie 08-16-2009, 06:25 PM X2^^^^^ i wouldn't split them if you can help it...got any neighborhood kids that you could pay to come and play with them why your not there....
alexrex20 08-19-2009, 06:09 AM i agree, you'll just make it worse by splitting them up.
fenderbmxer86 08-19-2009, 07:50 AM Beautiful dog.
Im not sure if you have a tredmill but what they say "a tired dog is a happy dog". 30 mins on the tredmill and 10 mins of affection would do wonders to him. Trust me i know. Iv dealt with a few sevierly SA dogs.
If you still have him in december PM me and ill take him. I have to finish buying a house before i can take in another.
2big bronco 08-21-2009, 12:55 AM ill take him in a month if no other option comes up. pm me. im buying A house right now and in a month ill have a good home
saabaroonie 08-22-2009, 10:34 PM My wife just had a baby so she wants a treadmill anyways...It just sucks how things change. The house I lived at before had 6' block walls and a 7' gates, so he was a happy dog, no destractions around. Well where I live now is a corner lot with a 5' wooden fence where people walk by all the time and on the other side they have the most annoying lil foofy dogs who bark all nite and the owners dont do shit. So my lil pitbull buddy runs the fence and barks at the dogs... I call him over and he runs to me and flops on his back. I made a dog run for them so they dont eat my yard, when were home I let them run around and I spend a decent amount of time in the yard with them. I will admit I dont walk them enough, were gonna try the treadmill thing and see how that goes, but for the record i'm not working my pitbull on a treadmill as thats illegal in san bernadino county.(HATE DOG FIGHTERS!!!!)
If he is still around and we cant work things out you guys are welcome to take him. Having a baby now the dogs arent allowed in the house anymore which sucks because that was when we would spend the most time with them. :shaking: bad feeling having to get rid of my dog. but life makes unexpected turns and you gotta do whats right, and I just dont have time to give this guy the attention he needs.
jessekedgar 08-25-2009, 11:04 AM hey you know you can contact animal control and they will send a letter, not tied to you in anyway, to stop that foofy dog next door from barking. i know i got one about my pit barking. it basically just asks the owner to take care of the problem and if nothing is fixed there will be consiquences.
dropmytaco 08-25-2009, 04:13 PM gorgeous dogs!
Siccished 08-26-2009, 08:23 AM I'm not even into pit bulls, but that looks like a great dog!
If I lived in so cal and didnt have my rottie and germ shep I know my gf would want to pick him up.
If somebody takes her they should come over everyday for a week just so they get used to each other. Are you keeping the girl?
How is he with other dogs? Ever come down to nor cal?
saabaroonie 09-03-2009, 09:01 PM How is he with other dogs? Ever come down to nor cal?
He is good, gets really excited around other dogs. I took him to the dog park twice and he just ran non stop, never seemed too aggresive though. My dad has a german shorthair and my friends have a lab and they play pretty good. I never usually get UP too nor cal.
saabaroonie 09-30-2009, 01:07 PM Anyone ready for this guy? I was trying to hold off so I didn't advertise anywhere else.
Valley Auto 10-03-2009, 06:56 PM Sorry about your situation, for anyone whos contemplating this, this is one of if not the BEST dogs around. Ive always had pits and they are wonderful animals. Good luck and I hope you find him a great home. I wish I could take him but Ive recently adopted one of my friends..
