Also any sua with leaf lift and shackle lift pic? thanks. I'm thinkin of going 4'' sua and a srs soo thats one reason I'm askin to see pics. Plus im stoked to see the flex.

Most 4-6" SUA lifts are stiff as fawk. They have to be to support the arch of the spring. Some kits like the 3.5-4.5 BDS or RE kits do really well. Your best bet is to get some TJ flares and tube fenders and run the smallest lift SUA you can. The lesser the lift the better it will flex.

The best SUA flex I have ever seen....again is in this thread.

I'm all about spring under. They don't flex as much, but they are very stable and predictable. I would rather loose the flex and keep it low and simple.

Dont wast your time with a spring under. i had a RE 4.5 SUA and it worked well, but once i went to a spring over it really worked well. you can DD a SOA with no problem. Don't do what i did and so a SUA and then end up with a SOA it cost to much.

Not for 35" tires and definetly not for a DD rig, even done right SOA and LA lifts that are setup correctly for offroad are sloppy as fuck on the street. Between the large marshmello tires, soft suspensions and higher COG any emergency manuever has and increased possibility of disaster. I built mine with street in mind just as much as offroad. It could do 80 on the highway fine with zero issues. One day I had a deer jump out in front of me and I locked the brakes up and it nearly took an act of god to control that thing, same thing with evasive manuevering. My friends rigs running Clayton longarms all do the same thing as well, sloppy and all over the place except when going in a straight line. My rig was decent offroad and mindless on road when it was still SUA and used as a DD. Once I bought my WRX that thing went under the knife to become a better offroad vehicle with just enough streetability to get down the road safely and to the trails.

getting over it.................nothing like 100-150 RPM climbing a rock ledge and only having to hold the brake pedal.

SUA involves another concept........hang time when driving

RE springs CJ rear 4.5 springs in the front, YJ 4.5 springs in the rear. front end 2" forward
AMC 401 w/TBI, NP 435 D300 JB conversion charity package, 4.56's & ARB's (should have run 4.10s or 4.27s for highway cruising) and Waggy 44 front with Scout 44 rear wish i was 1"-1.5 wider on each side in the rear but thats minor nothing a HP D60 wiont fix later in life. running 35" creepy crawlers and allied steel beadlocks now should be running 36's. 1" body lift and YJ 4.5" shackles. u bolt flip in the rear. parts mike stuff in the front.

This is mine on 36's Still has a little more to go but you get the idea. I'm using SuperLift 3.5" springs and 2" body. TJ flars in the rear. I have the TeraFlex shock hoops in the front and the shock bar thing in the rear. If you do it right you can shoe horn 12" shocks in the rear and 12" in the front.
