Det kunde ha varit bättre att göra ett SAS konvertering

Just saying...

Well I did it just because I got the 4x4 -92 for like 2500sek approx 400USD
Only things missing was taillights, front bumper ,wheels, alternator, grille and title....
I sold this car in dec -08for about 4000USD and the guy that bought it just needed the title for a suburban without title brought from Norway.
When I bought my 2wd in may-09(1500USD) I called the guy and asked him about the extra seat in the back in case he didnt need it.
Come and get the whole car he said and named the price and I went in a hurry to bring it home:D
So it was cheaper than a SAS.....
I prefer stiff axles in the woods and I need a title for the -92 body so I will mount it on a -89 burned chassie.
By the way:

Nice work and typical swedish cheapness for the boot.
Nice Volvo stationwagon allthough.
Was this what you wrote?:)

I would have used the 89 for the parts to do the sas. The body's are so different that you'll have a hard time making it work. What you have now is much harder than sas. IS it too late to go back? either way, good luck with the project!

I still have the 2wd frame but the problem is that I need a title that is 4x4 and NOT rebuilt. If I change axles on a car it costs about 600USD to get it approved...maybe.... But I can freely interchange body as long as its the same brand and model...
Therefore I will put makeup on the pig...

I use all electric from the new body so it will be bolt on exept for the bodymountings.
Iam looking for smart ideas how to do that.
