I mean will a divorced 205 just bolt right up or do I have to have some sort of adapter plate?

Divorced means you keep the 2wd trans and run a driveline between the two. To convert youwill need a 4wd output shaft and the correct adaptor and a 27 spline 205

so basically I would need tiny ass driveshaft between the tranny and the divorced case? If anyone has any pictures of this setup it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for all of your help too!!!!!

all youve got to do is take off the rear tail shaft and replace the out put shaft with that of a 4x4 one with the correct splines for your tcase. easy as that, if you know how to take apart a tranny....oh ya, and dont put the tail shaft back on

if it is a short tail, AA sells a 4 bolt spacer you can use and then run a 700r4/np208 adapter and an np208 or 241

4x4 tailhousing?

He means the adapter. And yes the long tailshafts(car transmissions) can be cut down to work.
