Need a set of locking hubs for the front chevy 60 I've got placed in the jeep. What are the best aftermarket hubs aviable? What factory hubs are good for a cheaper fix?
I have the OME spicer ones now but they won't un-lock very easy, and I want something more reliable.
Please share experiances good or bad and comments.....
Thanks

The oem spicer units are by far the strongest and can be broached for 35 spline if you go that route in the future. Clean 'em up and run em!

Aggro is correct.

Warn makes some good units but the old spicers are the best for strength.

jiggle the axel at the u joint, that works on the 35 splin hubs

Put the t-case in 2wd, and drive it a little bit, usually helps to get them unlocked. Its just the basic design of the hubs, when you disengage them, you are actually disengaging them, as opposed to releasing tension on a spring (like the Warns).
