: Cooper Tire All Stock Nationals Teams - IMPORTANT!!!
RedBullJeep 08-17-2009, 01:09 PM Teams for All Stock Nats - www.werocklive.com
This is critical info to help me help you look great at the All Stock Nationals. Please, take the time to fill this information in and give it some thought, especially the storyline part of this, as it will give me info to help the fans relate better to you, your team, and your sponsors.
Please fill this out using the format shown below as it makes it easier for me to transfer over to my announcer sheets.
1. Team #
2. Class
3. Series you competed in
4. Series Rank (Where did you finish in your series THIS SEASON)
5. How did you qualify (series ranking, current national or world champ, wildcard)
6. Team Name

11. Past major finishes (example: 2nd place in 06 W.E.ROCK nationals, 2nd in 07 east series…it’s ok to include KOH / XRRA results as well)
12. Team news worth sharing – examples: recent spotter change, new sponsor, drove from Western Canada, competes in 20 events a year, driver has a new baby, first time competing east of the rockies…something, anything…things the crowd would be interested in hearing about your team. Don’t be shy here but dig deep and think about this opportunity.
13. RIVALRIES…do you want to beat someone, want someone specific to win, have any OTHER teams or members of other teams to thank for something…any stories to set up heroes, villains, rivalries??? Feel free to PM or e-mail me that info if it’s controversial. We can discuss a way to make it work for everyone, especially the crowd.
No joke, this information makes a big difference and helps me out a ton. PLEASE, do this now as I already have enough to do at the event versus trying to chase you down to get info.

13. Rivalries huh? Bigest one being Jay Hopko! Him and Jim have the potential to go all the way at the nationals.I am scared to lose to them and get my balls busted by the boys at home and at Rausch. Not really, it is a friendly rivalry. They are great friends and true competitors. I wish them the best.

12. We are just four hours from Hannibal, it is our home track. The only other place we have ever competed was the 2009 King of the Hammers LCQ race. We have a large and great group of people on our team. We were co-sportsman of the year winners in RROCK 2009 thanks to our team. No new changes to the team or car other than the transmission is blown up and laying on the floor in the shop with two weeks to go. We are looking for ways to run the W.E. Rock East series in 2010. We were the highest finishing non W.E.Rock team at the ASN in 2008.
13. Looking to win the ASN this year, we think we can do it. We would love to be the national champs seeing how we are just some average joes and the champ is not even thinking about us as someone to watch :) Kurt just giving them something, nothing against you.
Shram 08-17-2009, 07:02 PM Kurt just giving them something, nothing against you.[/QUOTE]
No offense taken.you guys are definetly one of the top teams going into this event! I need to be on my game! Cant wait to run with you guys! One of my favorite teams to run with all season. Would like to run with you guys for once in the same group! See you there!

My team and I have been competing in the professional rock crawling series WeRock for the last 5 years. We travel the mid-west and east coast attending rock crawling competitions and Jeep Shows. In June of 2008, Kelly lost her mother to a brief battle with colon and liver cancer. Her mom was one of the team's biggest fans and a big fan to the world of rock crawling and motorsports. We had been thinking of ways to hold an off road event or something in her mom's memory, when the idea was presented to paint the competition jeep pink and raise money for cancer research. And thus, Crawl to Cure Cancer was born. 4Wheel Drive Hardware has graciously stepped up to be a huge part of this project. All proceeds from our Crawl to Cure Cancer t-shirt sales will be donated to the cause AND 4WDH is going to company match the donations we bring in throughout the year. Then, at the end of 2009, we will turn all of our donations into the American Cancer Society.
13.I want us to win! I'm tried of the bottom falling out on us and our rig. I want us to catch a break and show the rest of the world what we have up our sleeves. We're been doing this for the past 5 years, we're due!

12. New spotter my 17 yr old son Jake, My 8 year old son Canyon had his 1st rock crawl comp this year. My 18 year old daughter Ashlee competed in Sherock this year. First time driving stick shift and she placed 2nd. Thinking about changing our Team name to All In The Family 4wd......lol. My wife Heidi hasn't been part of the team this year. She is playing full contact football for the Chicago Bliss.
13. No rivalries. Would love to see Team RBR and Team Offlimits in the top 2. I have a conflict with my spotter for Friday.....His first day of school and his first Varsity Football game...Still have to figure out how to get him there.
I feel like I didn't contribute enough to the Child Center last weekend....So if Team Offlimits4wd places....any money recieved will go to the Child Center Organization.
Can't wait to see everyone.

11. Rookie season, disappointed so far
12. Pretty much an Arkansas based team going for broke. Have nothing to lose, but everything to gain. Truck works fine, were just impatient. We need to slow down and get it together.
13. I want to beat Kyle Bruso. Not because hes a jerk, lol, but because hes a stand up guy and a top competitor. He is usually at the top and if we beat him then we'll be at the top too. Also because this might be the last time I have to beat him I heard his pro-mod car is coming together and he will be moving out of our class. I would like to thank my race team, everyone at my shop, and all my sponsors. Special thanks to my main rock slinger Jeff "NO FEAR" Speer for spotting for me this year and dealing with my fuc**d up attitude when were getting our ass kicked. We've had a blast this year and my hat goes off to all the teams who competed against us. I have yet to meet a team that is not easy going, willing to help and quick to offer you a beer. Thanks to all the park owners, We-Rock, R-Rock , Moroc judges and officers, and my family for making this all a reality.

11. Two 2nd's and one 1st this year resulted in the East Series title.
12. Our rig is built from "off the shelf" parts. Pretty much everything that is not OE outside of the cage was done at the 4 Wheel Parts store in Indianapolis.
Spotter Mike DeVore drives the rig in RROCK and qualified for ASN, but I won't give up the drivers seat so he has no rig and will have to just keep spotting :D
13. We finally took Sharm's crown in Dayton and don't plan on giving it back anytime soon! :D

7. Driver: Lisa (Kougar) Catt
8. Spotter: Super Dave Koenig
9. Driver: Frankfort, IL Spotter: Moline, IL.
10. Sponsors: Cooper Tire and Branik Motorsports
11. Placed third in She-Rock for the third year in a row.
12. Was formally known as " The Roll-over Queen" of Hannibal Rocks. I feel as if I have better control of the rig this year, even though after my unexpected take -off on C3 course at the third RRock event, I am sorry to say that the FAA has taken away my flight status. :D Very happy with our Cooper Tires. They have hooked up great on the rocks this year and given us more opportunities to climb obstacles than we have done in the past. I no longer have a lead foot and have more control over the gas pedal. I just need to learn how to "goose it" a little better when my spotter tells me too. :D Hoping that Cooper Tire will be willing to sponsor this Grandma for another year of Rock Crawling at Hannibal Rocks. My future goal is to be just as great a driver as Jake Good from Team RubberBelly Racing. :)
13. I have no rivals. I just wanna win for my spotter, because he has put a lot of hard work into our rig and been very patient with me, even when I screw up. I look forward to competing with my RRock Family for many more years. Like the song says, " Girls just wanna have fun."

RedBullJeep 08-19-2009, 03:09 PM Nice...keep this stuff coming and if you think of more stories, come back and add them to a new post...include your team number though as that will help me. And NO, you cannot write too much in the stories. I shove this info in a corner of my brain and refer to it for storylines...maybe the stry will get told, maybe not, but if you don't give me anything to go by, I won't have as much to say about you!
Thanks for doing a great job so far!

12. My spotter and i have been together for 5 years now, we have over 40 podium finishes in those 5 years. We have ran at least one race in every series on the east coast in that time-span. We run 20+ events pre season, this season i will run a total of 20 major events (as a spotter or driver) along with some local events and shows.
