I bought a 86 sammy back in 92' and sold it a year later because I built a big mud truck (no real trails in Southwest Oklahoma). Well now the Army has sent me to Colorado (the mudtruck sits in Oklahoma still). I looked for a Sammy to buy and believe it or not I found my old Sammy for sale!! I had sold it to another GI who obviously had came to colorado too. Cool, huh?

Anyway here is my questions: Someone put a new rear axle under it with a limited slip that when I put it in 4lo was obviously a slightly higher ratio than the front. What ratios were offered in Sammy's? I want to match the fronts slightly lower ratio. Can you order full third members? What traction aid should I use (cheap but good for medium trail riding w/33"s) Ive been dealing with rockwells for a few years now and have lost any knowledge of sammy stuff   Do the third members work in front and rear? Im currently in training (bush wants to blow up the world you know) and dont have access to the sammy to check the ratios.

Thanks for any help!

3:73, lock right, sami diff same front and rear except for the side spider gears are diferent from front to back, yes but just the gears would be cheaper or just put 4:16,4:89,5:8 or 6:1 t-case gears in it.
