It's no longer "the row boat"

It's "the shower" :flipoff2:

Seriously, it looks really funky from those first two particular angles. But I'll reserve judgement until the rest of the tub is filled in. It's not like my judgement means a squat, anyway. Who cares what some guy on the internet 1200 miles away thinks?

Naaaa, i think it looks funky too... but with a seat in place approximatly the height you will sit at there's 8 inches above my head.... maybe a bit much? never know i might move the seat up, but i'm not sure i like how it sit's either...

I think that might me part of the problem. If you would quit putting your thingy in the bender it might work a little better. Rember the die is for 1.75 not .0005. :flipoff2:

Hey DSI, I think you may have been looking at the legs on that collapsible chair a little too much - Is this thing gonna fold up into a footlocker to transport it?

No we werent thinking of a footlocker for transport, but if you could swing by and bend over, we will see if it will fit in the area we were thinking.

Looks like a stock sammy in the backround, just try to keep close to those dimensions and it should turn out fine. I almost stopped a couple times when doing mine, but my sketches looked good so I kept going. It looks completely different with all your junk bolted on.

I knew your comment was a joke, so I replied with one too, the shiney tube is a dead giveaway to what it is. What does DOM cost up there? We can get it for as little as $2/foot sometimes.

DSI
09-21-2002, 08:15 PM
well the 1.75 .120 wall is $1.38 a ft my 1.5 .250 wall DOM for my link bars was a wee bit more ;)

Damn $2/foot is cheap. I just priced some yesterday at $6.00/foot.

Shrock
09-21-2002, 10:22 PM
$6/ft is a joke. I suppose it depends on a lot of things like location, but you should be able to get it for at least 1/2 that. Shopping around and dickering pays.

Most internet sales places I have seen have been outrageous BTW.

DougO
09-21-2002, 10:51 PM
I pay 2.75-3.00 a foot for 2" .120 wall HREW .. hows that compare to other areas?

Never bought 2", but 1.75x.120 HREW is about $1.20/foot from a supplier in town.

I was quoted $14.25 a foot for DOM 2" .120. A friend ordered 1200 ft from out of state and sold the same shiat to me for $3 a foot.

I get my 2"x .120 hrew for 1.68 a foot, not too bad I guess. I asked about DOM and they laughed, said I had to go to spokane (400 miles away) for it:eek:  yeah, right

DSI
09-22-2002, 03:19 PM
