ok heres the problem and i dont have a good solution as of right now. Im 18 and just moved to my apartment for college. needless to say the complex im living in has a pretty good crime rate, most of them involve getting mugged while walking from car to the door of the apartment.

i keep my ruger lcp unloaded and locked in a compartment (a special compartment)

here is the iffy part, i slide the mag in and stick the gun in my pocket while walking to my apartment. im not worried about being stopped by an officer, but what if i needed to defend myself. what would the consequences be?

should i leave the gun in the apartment and just keep carrying my knife (sog trident), throw the AR over the shoulder? what say ye osr
