i have a good group heading up around noon, and we'll probably hit the trail by 1:00.
if you want to tag along, feel free. we'll do bronco peak and connector, and sidewinder, order and direction tbd. maybe do both trails both directions, who knows. please have 35"+ tires, lockers, and tow points.

well, the bitch is that im on bandwidth restrictions at work and dont have a computer at home (by choice). so i would have to do some sort of transfer in person.

I saw a group of Toyo's and Jeeps going up BP later in the day. We had finished the trails and came back around to pick up a light cover that someone in our group had lost.

We got up there late Friday afternoon and by dinner time it was drizzling. It kept on through the night, but was over by 8:30 Saturday morning. It helped keep the dust down but made for a humid morning.

it was kinda humid for us saturday, but mostly hot and dusty. we all looked like ethnic fellers when the day was done. i have your light cover. it's a black kc, right?
and no, not scavenging, just cleaning up.:flipoff2:

thanx guys, i appreciate it.:D
and mike, you have seen that part of the trail, it's the rock garden between connector and the peak itself. the main line is straight up from the bottom. i saw the line (sideways through the v-notch) a while back and it's been calling my name. my rig does things now that it couldn't do previously, so it had to be done. i also was able to get up that nasty ledge on sidewinder that i couldn't do before, the one in the middle of the trail off to the side. it was nice to get those out of the way.:D

and this has me thinking; why don't we have names for some of these obstacles? i see the need for it, am i alone here? i got dibs on naming the side line at the rock garden, even though somebody else may have done it before me.:flipoff2:

btw, i'm still trying to put up some pics of everyone else, but my cannon got killed to death off of the 30' cliff on connector:(, and my stupid iphone wont e-mail the pics. if only i were a techie...

everyone did good, and the v-notch at the top of the first hillclimb is gnarlier than ever with the holes dug out around the rock in the middle. almost everyone got tippy there. noe and justin pretty much pitched their yotas over but were able to get out ok, looked way cool. dave chappelle went right through it in his amigo effortlessly, and so did andrew in his sammy. oh yeah, nice exo on the amigo dave. the whole rig looks sick to say the least. and nice job redoing my exhaust, i love it.

I'm glad you posted that last video, I was also wondering if I missed something. I've only been up there twice and didn't have anyone to really show us around.

Same trails, same day, much worse lines i'm sure.

I've heard about it, but never been to Superstition. I live in Ventura County and JV is a couple hours closer than Corral Cyn. I'm just hoping it'll cool down soon.

Are you going to FITD this year? We'll be there Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning. How about you miguelitojeep, or are you going to spend another month at Rubicon?

billybob13

roger that. superstition is a miniature version of jv but with more sand dunes. i wont be at fitd this year, but i'll be there the weekend of the 18th in sept.:)

I figured thats where it had to be... That would be the forth line I've seen thru that rock pile. Jeremey and I found one other rock pile out there that doesn't get much attention... Just got to remember where it's at. I'm sure there is a fawked up line thru that one as well..
