i am running the risk of a newbish question, but here goes. how far can the samurai front axle be pushed forward before drag link and tie rod collide at full compression? details: stock sammi housing, rro high steer kit, and stock manual steering box. i want to keep my ride height low and need to move my front axle forward 2-3 inches. full compression will have the axle hitting the bump stops at near stock levels. i would rather leave my steering box in the stock location if possible. i once heard that 2" or so was trouble free, but would like to hear from those who have already tried it.

well i dont know how far it moves it but ive used rear samurai springs in the front, along with the spring over perchs that have the one inch forward center hole, all together i think it up it to 3-4 inch stretch with out any issues,
